Brake Clearance Information
In the engineering phase of wheel development we 3D scan factory brakes and review 2D aftermarket brake templates in order to optimize our barrel profiles and spoke curvatures. As a result, our wheels offer massive brake clearance so you can run the smallest possible wheel diameter.
* The factory 6 piston 408mm Steel and 410mm PCCBs require 20" wheels for proper clearance. Read our article for more info.
Rear Toe Link Clearance
APEX 19x11" rear wheels require the installation of aftermarket motorsport style rear toe links from companies such as Tarett, GMG, SP Motorsports, or BBi to achieve the clearance needed for the reduced wheel diameter. This will also allow you to correct your toe setting when dialing in more negative camber at the rear. APEX 19x10.5" rear wheels do not require this modification.
Wider fitments for enhanced performance
These are our most popular GT4 RS / Spyder RS fitments perfect for drivers that want an increase in performance over stock without the compromise of having to heavily modify the car. Some modifications may be needed depending on the tires and wheels run. These fitments offer a dual-duty option for those who want to use these wheels on the street and drive to the track for an HPDE. Summer and Extreme Performance tires are what we recommend for these wheel fitments.
Track focused fitments that require significant modifications
Hardcore track fitment for the GT4 RS and Spyder RS looking to get remove as much understeer as possible from the chassis. Requires modifications to the brakes and some suspension component swaps but provides a noticeable performance improvement.
