McLaren 675LT Wheel Performance

The Factory McLaren 675LT wheels are very light from the factory for both the coupe and spider but could use some additional track width to extract more performance out of the car. We offer just this with our Forged VS-5RS fitments. Be sure to check out our McLaren 675LT Wheel and Tire Fitment Guide for all the fitment information you need to know.

A Brief history of the 2016 McLaren 675LT

The first of the modern Long tail (LT) cars. The 675LT paved the way for special edition track variants of the McLaren Sport and Super series cars (ignoring the 12C HS which there were only 10 of). With increased Horsepower now up to 666 through new cams, titanium connecting rods, titanium exhaust, and new turbo compressor wheels. The LT also received dramatic weight reduction, losing a whopping 220lbs of weight compared to the 650S. To live up to the Long Tail designation the 675LT is actually 33mm longer than the 650S, this length comes from the front splitter and revised rear spoiler.

Why it makes a good track car

The first track oriented McLaren in the modern era. While the P1 is faster on track it was intended to be an incredible road car. The 675LT had track performance in mind from the outset. More power, less weight, optional bucket seats, and better aerodynamics. The 675LT has everything one would want in a Track focused but street legal McLaren.
