Apex Wheels creates Real Performance wheels for drivers everywhere. That means designing and manufacturing wheels that don’t just look the part, but truly improve performance in a measurable way. Born on the track and raised in California, Apex was founded in 2007 as a passion project by diehard motorsport enthusiasts and has produced function-first, race-proven wheels ever since. Now boasting a team of 40+ staff members, all Apex products are designed by an in-house team of engineers who are just as passionate about motorsports as you.

Bred for the Track

Our story started on the track. Not with a goal of launching a business, but as a way to solve a problem. Our founder and CEO, Eddy Pintasci, couldn’t find wheels that had the performance profile or specs he wanted for his BMW E30 M3 track car. They simply didn’t exist.

Instead of settling, Eddy opted to make the thing he couldn’t buy. That wheel ended up becoming our flagship product, the now legendary ARC-8. 17 years later Eddy still races BMWs as often as possible, and Apex now boasts one of the most diverse ranges of competition-grade wheels and accessories on the market. Racing is in our DNA, and that flows from the top-down at Apex.

OUR NORTH STAR - We make lightweight forged wheels and flow-formed wheels with specifications tailored for drivers seeking a Real Performance upgrade, not just a fashionable motorsport look. The reality is the wheel industry is completely unregulated. Wheels are commonly marketed with unverified performance claims that are either outright false, or misleading at best. PROVEN PERFORMANCE - Apex is dedicated to educating the enthusiast community on what makes a true high performance wheel. From the bespoke forging dies we design from scratch to produce our unique wheel profiles, to the rigorous independent testing and certification processes we subject every Apex design to, Apex wheels are stronger, lighter, and have an unmatched performance-to-price ratio. And we want to prove their performance to you. Doing things this way is slower, but it’s a small price to pay to back up our performance claims with real data. When enthusiasts can identify what makes a Real Performance wheel, the choice becomes obvious.
