To qualify for the extra coverage you must have been an HOD member at the time of original purchase and at the time of submitting a claim. Being a member means the annual HOD membership fee has been paid covering the period of both the purchase and claim. Membership status is validated with HOD for all claims.

APEX WHEEL REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

Because wheel warranties do not cover accidents or damage caused by misuse, wheels can easily become an expensive consumable if you are beating them up at the track or getting unlucky on the street. The norm in the industry is for customers to absorb 100% of all replacement costs, but that ideology is cold and transactional instead of supportive and considerate of the true overall experience enthusiasts go through during the ownership of their wheels.

Let’s face it: Whether you are a weekend warrior practicing at the track, or a club racer pushing the limit for a podium finish, mistakes happen and parts will be damaged along the way. We are not really a performance company if we sell wheels in a way that penalizes the pursuit of driving at the limit. For this reason, we stepped up and created a program to significantly reduce the costs of properly maintaining a set of wheels by making replacements extremely affordable.

Our goal was to make replacing a damaged wheel with a brand-new one much more appealing than ignoring the problem or performing any questionable or compromising repairs. This program will also help keep damaged wheels from being passed on to unsuspecting enthusiasts via the secondhand market.

Discounted replacements are ideal for customers who accidentally damage their wheels with curb rash; bends or dings from potholes, berms, road debris, off-track excursions; or from jumping an M4 over a median while leaving a Cars and Coffee meet because their tire pressure was too low. Complete destruction of a wheel from serious accidents also qualify, including tire wall or barrier impacts, contact with other racers, or any accidents resulting in a total loss.

Brandon is a Porsche Fitment Expert at APEX Wheels. Prior to joining APEX in 2022, he worked as Office Manager for a Porsche & Ferrari service and race shop, guiding customers in all areas – suspension, power, aesthetics, you-name-it. His first foray into racing came In college when he was asked to assist at a PCA club race. Says Brandon, “I figured if I am already making the drive, I might as well enter the HPDE happening at the same time.” He hasn't stopped since.
