New BMW Track Wheels From Apex Race Parts

For anyone familiar with APEX Race Parts, you know the company was launched by diehard BMW enthusiasts. Today, we provide a wide range of fitments for BMWs across three distinct wheel lines: Classic, Evolution, and Forged.

NEW 18″ WHEELS

For 2021, APEX is releasing new 18” and 19” fitments for the G20 3 Series and the all-new G8X M3/M4. While details are pending, these wheels are guaranteed to be optimized for maximum width and traction, while ensuring they clear all OEM and popular aftermarket brake options.

NEW 19″ WHEELS

APEX continues to expand its offerings, and is set to launch new design choices in 19” sizes for the BMW F8X M3/M4 and the BMW F87 M2 & M2 Competition early next year.

These wheels are engineered to easily clear massive 400mm BMW carbon-ceramic brakes. New, wider 19×11” rear fitments, meanwhile, accommodate r-compound tires up to 305mm in width.

Here are a few more features you can expect:

– Knurled beading reduces unwanted tire slippage (SM-10 only) – “I” beam spokes remove unnecessary material and weight (SM-10 only). – True VIA certification and independent testing with load ratings that exceed JWL requirements – Hub-centric engineering, no centering rings needed. – Accommodate impact sockets and wide lugs. – Compatible with factory mounting hardware. – Compatible with OEM center caps. – Compatible with OEM TPMS sensors.

Tom is a BMW Fitment Expert at APEX Wheels. Prior to joining the company in 2019, he worked for BMW of North America as Fleet Manager: Portland (OR) for the ReachNow car-sharing program, and as Warranty Administrator/Loaner Fleet Manager at BMW Portland. In addition, Tom has extensive training in BMW TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) as well as in-depth knowledge of all BMW chassis and their wheel fitment options, with and without aftermarket brake and suspension upgrades. His high-performance driving experience includes autocross events in southern Oregon and track days at PIR in his 2004 E46 330i with 17x9 ET42 APEX ARC-8 wheels.
