We at Apex obsess over the subtle design details because we know that whether you’re building a truly competitive car or just designing the parts that make cars competitive, the little details can make a big difference. The details are where Real Performance lives. So when it comes to designing wheel accessories, we believe that they can’t just look great – they need to be optimized to give your build a performance edge. With our all-new Apex color-matched valve stems, we’ve designed a robust, premium part that not only solves an annoying aesthetic problem in perfectly matching the specific black, gold, silvers, and bronze tones of Apex wheels, but will also benefit your track weapon or street build equally.
Apex’s color-matched valve stems were initially designed to provide a perfect, one-to-one color-match to our wheel finishes. We spent a lot of time making sure these color-matched valve stems looked right and delivered a cohesive, tailored look when paired with Apex wheels. However, we also designed them with a substantially lower profile than standard valve stems. A shorter valve stem tucks itself into the wheel in a way that protects it from injury during both the wheel-to-wheel contact that happens in the heat of battle on track or from being clipped by curbing when driving on the street. Both scenarios will instantly drain the air from a tire, something that will obviously keep even the quickest race car in the world from a podium.
We then took that focus on durability a step further and made sure every part of our color-matched valve stems was made of metal to deliver a true step up in quality and toughness. Complete the look, protect your performance. It’s in the details.
