Track season is off to a great start here in California. Our photographer met up with Eric @tangerine_sti and his dual duty 2013 Subaru WRX STI at Buttonwillow Raceway for a Turn 8 Track Days event. Eric arrived to the raceway early in the a.m. to prepare for his first session, applying his number plate and inspecting the car thoroughly. This track prepared STI features a set of 18×9.5″ ET38 EC-7 wheels, developed exclusively for the WRX/STI chassis in a rotatable square configuration which promotes a neutral handling experience and provide plenty of brake clearance for the factory BBK. Below you will find more info on Eric’s build and photos from his track day experience.

As an enthusiast he made the shift from street driving to track driving in order to fully experience his cars at the limit without putting the public at risk. When he’s not helping JDM owners figure out the best wheel setups for their cars, he enjoys playing racing video games and indulging his interest in automotive photography. Fun fact: Matt knows every quotable line in The Fast and the Furious by heart.
