NOTE: Since this article was published, we've discontinued the PS-7 design. It was replaced by our flow formed EC-7 which is available in the same widths and offsets showcased in this article. You can learn more about that wheel here.

We also offer these fitments in our forged VS-5RS design for those looking for the ultimate lightweight APEX wheel option.

APEX: Tell us some details about yourself & your car.

Patrick: My name is Patrick van Velzen and I am from Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. I drive a widebody 2010 BMW 135i Black Sapphire Metallic. I suppose my only hobby is my car. This car was built without any sponsors just help from good friends.

APEX: What is your current wheel setup?

Patrick: I run APEX 18×10” +25 PS-7 wheels up front and 18×11” +25 PS-7 wheels in the rear. My PS-7 wheels are custom powder coated to matte gun metal blue. The tires are 275/35-18 and 335/30-18 Nitto NT01. I am currently using BC Racing BR coilovers for my suspension modifications. To clear the suspension and for better fitment I am using spacers. The kit that allows me to fit such a wide set up is the Clinched Flares e82 widebody kit.

APEX: Why did you choose APEX Wheels over the rest?

Patrick: I chose APEX wheels for my car because the BMW community stands behind them so much. There isn’t a better option for a strong and lightweight wheel, with a great price point, that maintains a nice aesthetic as well.

APEX: What modifications have you done to your car?
