Timur's 2017 Subaru BRZ On 17" EC-7R Forged Wheels

Updated on 08/06/2024

We met up with Timur, a fellow member of FT86Club forums, to test fit and photoshoot our new 17” fully forged wheels on his dual duty BRZ. For the photoshoot, we mounted a set of wide 17×9.5” et40 EC-7R in our anthracite finish. This setup is a direct fit and provides plenty of clearance for the factory performance package Brembo brakes.

The EC-7R is a significant step forward from our flow formed predecessor. Designed significantly stronger using forged 6061-T6 aluminum, this wheel features a 1,600 lbs load rating that exceed JWL load rating requirements by almost 35%. Concavity has also been a consistent ask from the 86/BRZ community, and we finally delivered with a concave profile 2 face. Along with beautiful crafted details and exclusive finishes, our new forged wheels check all of the boxes.
